Asia Carbon Connections will invest 10 per cent of gross profits in to an environmental education fund. This fund will sponsor students from Asian countries to study environmental degrees at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Initial efforts will focus on student from countries with limited environmental control frameworks such as Vietnam and Cambodia. As the fund grows and more students can be supported the student pool will be expanded to cover the Asian region.

Scholarships will be advertised in local media to encourage student applications. Successful students will be selected by a panel of business, government and academic staff.

Investment in the fund is open to other companies wishing to assist developing countries achieving higher levels of environmental expertise.
